Diesel Style Lounge
There’s some beautiful eye candy in the Diesel Style Lounge. (Make sure you choose the high bandwidth version, and then be patient while it loads.)
The site was apparently a collaborative effort between Diesel, Neue Digital, wysiwyg, and DVEIN, who’s stunning titles for OFFF 2006 still stand out in my memory.
One of my first ever posts on Tween (Motionographer’s predecessor) was a Diesel-funded project created by Lobo called Lost Paradise. Since then, it seems Diesel has been shifting its creative energies away from passive attract loops and experimental videos to online works and experience design. Motion graphics is still at the core of all of it, but it’s interesting to note the subtle change in media and presentation.

all a little pointless I feel… what have the depths of the ocean got to do with Diesel clothing? Why the facts about seafarers, the great barrier reef etc whilst waiting to download?
The fishy cursor’s okay though, otherwise style over content…
