I like the sparse layouts and sound design in this new campaign from Superfad for the California Lottery. The writing and animation are exceptionally well integrated, too. They’re just fun, friendly little spots.

It actually takes a lot guts to keep a lotto spot it this level of abstraction and simplicity. Design wise and also in the copywriting 6500 square feet is my favorite. They’re genius!

yes these spots are superb. simple type animation, combined with seamless transitions and integrations can go a long way, especially when it is sooo crissspy clean. typography in motion was only a small part of this campaign, yet it was the big hook. It worked wonders…I mean shit, think how much they saved on talent fees alone! (aside from the narrator, who was good)

Saw these first on TV and thought they were so well done. Lots of fun.
