Megaforce: Late of the Pier “Heartbeat”

Fubiz is hosting a new video from the same crew that produced the DIY-flavored “Live Good” for Naive New Beaters. Like it’s predecessor, Late of the Pier’s “Heartbeat” uses a few camera tricks and some pre-planning to pull off a grab-bag of roughly executed visual stunts that jive with the jangly hipster vibe of the music.

I like the unabashed joie de vivre on display here. Based on their two music videos so far, Megaforce feels like a rag-tag group of enthusiastic friends who love to create fun stuff simply because they can.

Megaforce is on production company 75prod‘s roster of directors. As far as I can tell, one of Megaforce’s members is also in Late of the Pier… it’s all rather confusing… I wish I spoke French.
