I also felt that if I did a color grade pass over all the various pieces that maybe my reel would feel a little more cohesive. Another reason for the color grade was that I thought maybe the viewer would focus more on the actual animation this way. Just thought I would try something different. Glad to hear you liked my boards. Thanks!

I don’t think I have ever seen a reel that was color graded and I wanted to try something different. I am curious how other people felt about the color effect that was over the whole video. Personally I didn't mind it until I saw the Wakovia animation and then I noticed it as a bit out of place on a couple other clips. What are people's opinions on altering shots for one's reel in such a way that they no longer fit the branding of the client? I have often wanted to alter a couple of the clips in my reel to make them feel more cohesive with my personal style but I felt that showing range and the ability to work within a companies branding might be more conducive to landing jobs. Any thoughts on this?

Nice work.

I am curious how other people felt about the color effect that was over the whole video.
