Cheeky PSA’s for AIDES

TBWA and London based studio, Minivegas bring you these two amazing psa’s for aids awareness. These are the types of projects that I dreamed of working on when I entered this field. Seemingly no restrictions and the ability to create an entire world based on joke after joke is a rare opportunity. Minivegas in no way disappoints; the character creations are very well done as well as their execution, and yes I am referring to penis fish and breast planets when saying this.

And from looking at the production art they were kind enough to send to us, this production involved alot of research and development. It almost looks like a Disney production….’cept with balls and tits.

    Comparing the body of a woman as a universe is something different. The concept and the spot itself is beautiful. :)

    Maybe i am old fashioned and stuff. But somehow it seemed a bit disturbing these ads for me? Does anybody else get that impression? If not, well, then i am old fashioned (ashamed :( )
    But yeah, conceptually talking, its very nice use of colours and a very fluid movement, there is only one minus…. This PSA forgot completelly about same sex relations?

    This also reminds me of that PSA directed by Wilfred Brimo that were cool as well.

    Well, big grats to TBWA and Minivegas :)

      not a fan of the overall look either. flat shading on most of the objects with lame character design…

    I think these are great. They have a nice sense of whimsy — so much of safe sex advertising is scary and based on fear.
