For a self-aware piece of shtick, I think it’s pulled off well in consideration of the intended context. Wrap those polar bears in American flags, and this would be Stephen Colbert’s favorite hockey team.

I can’t help but wonder if the proper licenses were obtained for the copyrighted music? And if so, is the fee reduced for an educational institution? Or is it waived entirely.

I inquire because I have been approached in the past by an educational institution to do work that included requests for copyrighted music. My inclination is that the license fees would exceed a typical state institutional budget. Is this an accurate assumption? Are there fee waivers for an educational institution?

I know it’s meant to be fun, but I can’t suspend disbelief when an F-16 is able to fly in space. Also, if you’re going to reference Top Gun, perhaps you should get the plane correct. Why does this even go into space and yet back into the arena?

Most of these end up somewhat cheesy, but this one is just insane. I will say, however, that I liked the opening shot with the Aurora Borealis.

i definatly agree with Aplayer, this article shouldnt be on motionographer at all. Feel like motionographer is getting too big and it feels on the content… too bad..

sorry if it’s your home team “gabreal”, but this video looks like it’s made to “boost” drunk retards before a game, for something made in 09/10 it could look waaaay better then this, with so much good guys working in this area

Hell yeah! thats my home town team! Knowing a number of UAF hockey players growing up this ridiculous video captures their mentality perfectly…at least after a few beers around a palette fire listening to music blasting from big trucks.
