February 10, 2012 This is the teaser for Colosse, A Wood Tale — Hornet‘s sweet new short soon to come, directed by Yves Geleyn. As usual, they’re sharing lots of behind the scenes goodies! Scott Forbes turns his gorgeous illustrations into a cinematic and carefully composed tale of adultery in the Hollywood Hills. Comments February 9, 2012 Stimulant has created LoopLoop, a visual musical sequencer that runs on the Sifteo cubes. LoopLoop uses an animated visual language as well as touch, motion, and placement of the cubes to create music. Very cool. The strange tale of Skhizein Posted by Stephen Kelleher This may be old news to some, but I noticed Jérémy Clapin and Stéphane Piera’s 2008 Oscar contender ‘Skhizein’ has yet to receive any Motionographer attention. So here it is in full. A curious tale indeed yet so quintessentially quirky and French, it’s a joy to behold full of original ideas and visual cleverness not to mention rock solid art direction and admirable follow-through in all aspects of the execution.
