I’m sorry…this video made me cringe…

hoeveler

The video didn’t make me cringe as much as the music though.

The video has been executed very well, great animation and character design. It’s a nice change, not like most of the “arty” pieces of crap that seem to pop out from all over the world at the moment.
Well the music is pop, so what? It sells, it pays the bills and without it our industry wouldn’t exist.

thats very true, its been animated beautifully but its something about the character and the song that makes me shudder but yes you’re right, it IS pop after all.

Aaronsauce

I think the song is awesome, and can’t wait to see more from them. The animation is beautiful and vibrant. All in all, great work by the musicians and animators combined.

I love this because it looks like it came from the mind of an illustrator not a motion person. More and more I want animate the work of an illustrator or character designer instead of doing yet another “same” thing that come out of my own head so this project makes me a bit jealous.

As for the subject matter. How can it even be argued? Some will love it, some will be offended.

Lovely!

But is “mixed(?) media” A New Thing?

About pop music, it is always about sex?

This piece isn’t trying to win an award – it’s just funky-ass COOL. Jeeez people, just enjoy it. Me like.
