Comments February 20, 2012 Incredible series of idents designed by Frans Schupp in 1982 for Dutch public broadcaster VARA. Schupp’s intern Robin Noorda (now an independent animator) recently restored the series – the master tape had been lost and the only remaining copy was badly degraded. Thank you to Liselotte Doeswijk for the tip!
To Do List is a sleek personal project from Yaniv Fridman and Daniel Luna. Sound design by WhiteNoiseLab.

It’s a sad day when one of your favourite studios decides to call it a day.
When I was studying my degree, Airside were one of the studios I really looked up to. With their bold use of colour and simple design, I saw them as a shining beacon of light within the ocean of the British creative industry.
Airside, it’s been a pleasure.
If you are in London you can see what looks to be one of Airside’s final talks on December 6th at See No Evil.
From Seoul’s Sticky Monster Lab comes The Loner, a story of isolation in isometry spotlit by an unexpected unconditional devotion.

La Verdad, directed by Juan Delcan and commissioned by Chilevision, is a few months old but well worth going back to. It is a soulful exploration of the many truths embedded in the human psyche. (A subtitled version can be seen on the Nola Pictures vimeo page.)
