Really interesting announcements. Scarlet is still rather vague, and Canon’s price point was a lot higher than expected. Really happy to hear they will both offer PL and EF, RED price will still be close to 20k with accessories, we are back to personal preference.

This is a no brainer … Scarlet X will be the camera of choice for most professionals.  The basic kit Scarlet X runs the same price as my Sony EX3, NanoFlash and SG Blade 35mm lens adapter priced together.

How is the C300 going for the 4K market it only outputs full HD video….?

RED Most definitely. I’m already working with my studio’s finance people to get it ^_^ … feel like a child waiting for his shiny new toy

Can’t mess with RAW video. The power you have through the entire pipeline with that is remarkable. The Scarlet can also use Canon and Nikon lenses! Woohoo!
