they sure know how to make a sales presentation.

Its looking pretty amazing……. lets just hope that they have some new animation tools inbound. Otherwise modo will never be a weapon of choice. I find it good for modeling, texturing and rendering. But animation leaves a lot to be desired.

Having said that though: Modo kicks ass.

I have been using Modo for a while now. It’s really fast and can be incorporated in the design/storyboard process pretty well, compared to heavier tools such as Maya. But the animation tools are not there yet… if you plan to do character animation, fluids, dynamics. But I can’t help… I love using it and I will buy the new version as soon as it is out!
