Graphic Illustrator

Fin Design + Effects (http://www.findesign.com.au/) is looking for looking for a freelance, experienced Illustrator/animation director to work on a project through November / December.
We want to see your portfolio of illustration, character design and concept art for a new animation project due to commence immediately for a possible 6 - 8 week contract. The ideal candidate will have solid experience as an illustrator and/or character designer, a strong illustrative and graphic style, able to develop storyboards and pre-visualisation animatics, along with the ability to work with 2D and 3D departments in a direction capacity.
This role is based in Sydney and will require someone working on site.
Required Qualifications:
- Concentrated experience in either character illustration, motion graphics and/or traditional forms of animation.
- A highly creative approach both technically and artistically a must.
- Experience working with 3D and compositors in a lead animation/direction capacity
- Experience developing storyboards and animatics
- Senior level experience with Drawing, character design and Adobe software
- STRONG Reel in either Animation, Drawing and/or Concept Art a must
