Motion Graphics Production Artist
at Universal Sports in Los Angeles
Start-Up Sports Television network is seeking a freelance Motion Graphics Production Artist for a 6-12 month project. Our offices are currently in the Glendale/Burbank area, but we will soon be relocating to Westlake Village.
Anticipated project start date 11/23/09, possibly sooner.
Skills:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in broadcast production art.
• Can work with a pre-built toolkit/template in After Effects to change footage and text.
• Basic Final Cut Pro skill (Digitize, Layoff, & Cut Footage).
• Basic design and typography skills are a must (We deal with lots of text on a single screen.)
• Proficient with Rotoscoping techniques.
• Able to handle several projects simultaneously.
• Able to follow directions as is a self-starter.
• Meet tight deadlines.
• Work with and assist Graphic Designers to complete projects.
• Able to think/work in a logical manner and keep track of multiple assets at once.
Software Proficiency:
• After Effects CS3/CS4
• Final Cut Pro
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Mac OS X
• Cinema 4D is a plus but not necessary.
