Roto Artist
at Mr. X Inc. in Toronto
Specializing in feature film visual effects and animation for international and local producers, Toronto based digital studio, Mr. X Inc. is comprised of a unique and gifted team of artists, filmmakers and programmers devoted to the art, craft and technology of visual story-telling. Mr. X is looking for experienced roto and paint cleanup artists to work on high-end feature film projects.
The main focus of the position will be to create roto mattes and prepare plates for compositing using Nuke. Some basic compositing skills are required as well.
Qualifications:
-a good understanding of techniques and methods of roto and plate preparation
-a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and able to work well within a team under tight deadlines
-experience with node based compositing system (shake, nuke)
-experience with motor an asset
