Maya Generalist
at Crazybridge Studios in Glendale, CA
Emmy-nominated visual effects boutique specializing in historical recreations and motion graphics seeks responsible, energetic Maya generalist for upcoming projects.
We are looking for enthusiastic artists who are able to thrive under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment. Must communicate and work well with VFX Supervisor and Producer.
The ideal applicant:
- Has an excellent eye for detail.
- Is personally motivated to provide exceptional work.
- Grasps how his/her work fits into the bigger production environment.
- Can quickly apply new knowledge to benefit the task at hand.
- Can work creatively with a tight team of artists under strict deadlines.
- Can multi-task, prioritize, solve problems, and meet challenges using a wide variety of skills and tools.
Must be able to take a complex shot in Maya from its initial concept through to final render. Modeling, texturing, animation, lighting and rendering are all equally important. Working knowledge of particles, fluids, and compositing a plus.
