Interactive Motion Designer

I think we just made up a bran new title with this gig, but the title really does describe the role.
We are designing some truly innovative solutions for visualizing information. We’re seeking a designer who has a knack for motion design to incorporate playful motion in the way that we want the application to interact with users.. Our goal is to combine beautiful and playful motion to function and purpose. The motion and beauty is where you come in. Transitions, data visualization, media are all things we want to apply some thought around motion design for.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong portfolio demonstrating solid motion design experience
- Highly creative
- Strong visual design skills
- Strong motion design skills
- Expert knowledge in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Expert knowledge of Flash, with proficiency in AS2 and/or AS3, (Flash Remoting skills a plus.)
- (Expert knowledge of Flash a plus.)
- Interactive web design background a plus, but not required
