Maya artist
at national film and television school in London
Looking for animators, texture artists and render artists for work on NFTS Graduation Film (it's a short animation) between now and December.
Each of the jobs is a seperate position however if you're a generalist who can do all of the above it would be an advantage.
The film is about a Walrus a Seal and a Lobster who meet in a gym/sauna and have a little heat competition with the lobster ending up cooking himself in his shell.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of maya and in terms of rendering of Mental Ray. You'll be working together with the director in the studio in Beaconsfield. (just outside of London) However if you are applying as an animator only there is also the possibility to work remotely but on site work is preferred.
You don't need to have years of experience in a production environment although it would be a bonus. But is is important that you are reliable and friendly person who enjoys working in a team.
We will cover expenses and if you're working on site pay for your train ticket to beaconsfield. Payment will be discussed upon application and will be dependent on the level of experience that the applicant has. However, do bear in mind this is not a commercial and unfortunately we cannot pay industry rates.
