We are currently looking for a range of 3D artists (on a freelance basis) to join our core 3D team. We have a number of different projects traveling through the building that require a variety of skill sets.<br />

To be successful you will need to have:<br />

A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.<br />

An understanding of the compositing process to deliver render passes to After Effects, Shake, Flint, Flame or Smoke.<br />

Must be proficient in creating your own character rigs from scratch (not using guides), IK/FK switches, 'layered' or 'wrapper' rigs, skinning and weighting, deformation, facial setup with FACs, CTRLs and GUI interfaces for animators, support a rig bake and mesh bake pipe, and be able to create tools for rig generation.  Simple but functional rigs are expected with few controls and little need for counter animation.<br />
<br />
For prop rigging expected capability in setting up layered rigs, and using setup methods other than bones and skinning such as deformers, simulation with goals etc.  Must be considerate of creating and supporting a healthy deliverable for others in the pipeline and interested in asset management.  Some scripting is expected, Python, VB, or JScript.  Programming skills a bonus, C# or C++.<br />

Requirements: Proficiency in character and prop rigging in XSI. Maya or Houdini experience considered if very strong portfolio and positive interest in migrating for this project. BFA, MFA or strong artistic skills and background with some fine arts or diverse portfolio, or BS, MS or related field.<br />
