May 21, 2013 A heartbreaking and skillful tour-de-force from the west coast Buck office. With an emotive score by Antfood this piece tackles the difficult subject of child sexual abuse. May 15, 2013 June 4th is almost upon us which means it’s nearly time for See No Evil’s! This time we are joined by VFX aficionado’s Analog Studio. May 13, 2013

April 15, 2013 New stuff from Plenty! With these ID’s for NICK, they have created a nice “handmade look” combining frame-by-frame animation and 3D. You can check out more details of the project right here.

IAAH (Nessim Higson) 2013 Reel
Bradley G Munkowitz: Oblivion Screen GraphicsJoseph Kosinski’s latest feature, Oblivion, releases today in the US, and with it comes an impressive onslaught of screen graphics directed by Bradley “Gmunk” Munkowitz. Like the work he directed for Tron, Munkowitz’s design for Oblivion is brimming with details. Munkowitz and his team oversaw the production of assets for scores of contexts, including an interactive light table, cockpit elements for the “Bubbleship” and HUD elements for various equipment and weapons in the film.
Danny Yount: Semi-Permanent Portland 2013 TitlesNew piece from one of my favourite motion designers of all time, Danny Yount.
Thanks for the tip, Filipe. It’s not secret that I am a huge fan of 90 Degrees West. Based in St Louis, this groups of creatives has been producing consistently strong, intelligent and whimsical work. Here’s another great “piece that even an industry full of adults with ADHD can sit through.” See full credits and context article here. Cauboyz: Husbands “Dream”
Justin Leibow: Conference CallsJustin Leibow’s “Conference Calls” is equal parts poetic and maddening. Greg Herman: Bridges
