Feel Good Anyway Reel 08 & Update

After quite a lot of umm-ing and arr-ing, I decided to upgrade this nugget of news from the Quickies.

The work on show is extremely subjective, and just like Marmite, you’ll either love it or hate it! I’m posting this is because it’s a good example to all the aspiring motion graphic designers of doing things differently, of trying to steer away from the well-beaten path of logo resolve after logo resolve. Luckily, the people at FGA also have a great sense of design to back up their reel, rather than relying just on novelty.

Great stuff! Its always refreshing to see a different approach to presenting a reel. The work as a whole is quirky, clever, and just so hillarious.

popo

brilliant!

Wow! With the different sound/music per cut, I was unusually focused throughout the reel. Don’t know if this approach would work as well for a studio lacking a sense of humor, but for FGA – hilariously effective! Nicely done.

Best. Reel. Ever.

Seriously – this is such a great approach, it really allows potential clients to stare in wonderment at the hoards of looks and styles that FGA are amply capable of. I was like a kid in a candy store, and I was laughing. Wicked!

Very nice, very nice, boca likes!

I don’t understand why you would even hesitate to list this as a feature.

This is some of the smartest work out there . . . all avoiding the ridiculous overuse of 3D and the style-of-the-moment cliches that seem to dominate most reels these days.

Go FGA!
