Mokme Posted by Jon Saunders Mokme is the site of NYC based freelance animating extraordinare Carl Mok. Mok has had lead roles in some fantastic projects that have been produced in the past few years. A few oldies that still impress like VH1 Hip Hop Honors and Cingular Evolution (Mok was lead animator on both) display Mok’s versatility and strength in handling an array of different mediums in motion. The most recent project Carl had his hand in is for Subaru WRX, where he worked as CG supervisor for an advertising trilogy about the rebirth of the car (episode 1, 2, 3). All three spots are lush with detail with each individual ad delivering a unique world that take inspiration from movies like Blade Runner and The Island. Carl has a great site to browse through and a lot of work to see, hope to see more soon.
