Digital Kitchen “Raw Deluxe”

dkraw.jpg

I refuse to comment on the fact that Digital Kitchen’s new “Raw Deluxe” is for Zune. Let it be assumed from now on that all projects from all studios are for Zune unless otherwise stated.

Now, with that out of the way, feast your eyes on all the lush textures and moody lighting that make this spot feel simultaneously elegant and edgy. Unlike the Zune Arts stuff, this is a product-centric video that would probably be great in retail environments with or without sound. (The soundtrack is very nice, though; it’s be shame to see it without the music.)

It’s simple. It’s subtle. It’s engaging. I dig.

“Let it be assumed from now on that all projects from all studios are for Zune unless otherwise stated.” Hahahahah, that was funny, but pretty true though, what the hell?…
Anyways, sweet spot, DK with different styles and approaches always…
    Cheers

Just gotta love a juicy macro. I’m wondering, as this spot seems to be targeting a very masculine demographic, whether there is/intends to be a more feminine companion piece?

Really nice and slick. Shows off the product well. Also, I read last week that in the year to November 2007, 578 babies born to couples where one or both parents work in the motion-graphics industry, have been given the first name ‘Zune’. Crazy, but true…

I like the transitions and the subtlety of the hard selling (forgive me for the lack of words) - zune, zune, zune.. hehehe… I’m a bit crazy today, too much coffee i guess…
