PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 2020, VICE News Tonight premiered its first season on its new home on VICE TV after spending three successful years on HBO. For the new iteration, we wanted to feature more video in our intro to showcase the amazing scenes that VNT has captured through the years. The crew also switched up key elements of the show’s style, moving from a black-and-white aesthetic to bolder colors. However, it retained the fluid animation style of its infographics and text. This signaled to viewers that while this was a new era for the show, this was still the same hard-hitting journalism VNT is known for.
