This is the second of 3 films we made for the 2021 Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award, made in collaboration with the incredible Ed Prosser.
Scientists Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman were awarded for their work that paved the way for mRNA vaccines, so we jumped at the chance to tell their story, especially because collaboration was key!
