Moving On Up

I apologize for the blatantly non-mograph post, but I wanted to let everyone know that very soon Motionographer will have a new home. For the past two years, Motionographer has been hosted by a certain company that up until the last few months did a fine job. As many of you have noticed, though, things took a turn a while back and we experienced repeat outages and slowdowns.

Well, that’s all over. Motionographer will be moving to Media Temple’s new Grid-Server technology very soon. I’m really stoked about it. I’m no sys admin, but the Grid promises scalability based on demand, and that’s muy importante for Motionographer.

It’s going to take me a little bit of time to migrate everything over and make sure all my fiddly customizations are working, but the ball is definitely rolling. I can already tell you that from my perspective Media Temple is a definite upgrade. I hope you’ll find the same on your end.

I’ll post again once the transition is complete. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Sir Monkey

I’ve only been with media temple for 7 months but it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’ve had two previous servers before MT and they were good, but MT is GREAT.

Good luck!
