Justin Harder: Lobstermen

lobstermen.jpg

“There is a legend where fisherman are not merely fishermen. They are LOBSTERMEN!” So begins the latest project directed by Justin Harder, who’s on the loose again in the mean streets of LA.

The balance between tongue-in-cheek and genuinely spooky is fantastic. The lightning strike at the beginning of the spot gets me every time.

UPDATE:Some nice making-of imagery over here.

Its really great to see that Justin continues to drop some hot Sh*t. Its also nice to see Justin expanding his range. The sarcasm is still there but the look is all new. LOVE IT…

I think it’s shot on stage with stock water elements and composited in after effects.

Not my cup of tea but props to the costume design company.

I find it funny that the credits are all about JH. Everyone knows it’s his work, wonder why he feels the need to claim credit for all aspects of the spot… I’m suprised it doesen’t say, “PA – Justin Harder” or “costume and wardrobe – Justin Harder”

Mark Gross

Oh wait, it does say costume by Justin Harder, my bad
