Stefano Dembro: Art Walk

artwalk.jpg

I was strolling through the portfolio of Brooklyn-based studio Stefano Dembro, when I happened upon a piece that caught my eye. Their promo for the Atlantic Avenue Art Walk is a great example of what can happen when you put down the mouse and, in SD’s case, pick up a hammer and nails.

I really dig how the typography and editing create a frenetic but friendly vibe that captures the spirit of a Brooklyn outing.

While SD has a knack for stop-action animation, their non-motion work is interesting as well. They’ve got a gritty, DIY approach that sets them apart from the herd a bit.
