Sophistication and restraint don’t really say much about a kids channel.

I think they do actually. And even though the logo is exploding, bouncing all over the place and slamming into the screen, the typeface, layout choices and limited color palette make this a fairly sophisticated rebrand. Especially when you think of the many other directions it could’ve went …

The look reminds on the TBS rebrand done 3 years ago by the ebeling group.
But it’s probably only the choose of typeface which is the same. Anyway,
good work as usual.

leans kinda FOX-ish to me.

So this is separate from what roger did? They just shared fonts?

I feel like they played this too safe.. Or were forced too. Especially the black type on white in the snipes. Considering how far the cartoon network has come, I kind of expected nickelodeon to keep up.

love it! the ending paper cutouts especially. :)

I think it is pretty safe but well done. I liked it much more than what Roger did. I think the animations are clever and not over the top and they create a nice clean frame for the content. You can always push the envelope further but the envelope has its say (nick in this case). Great job.
