Patrick O’Brien Foundation

Transfatty (a.k.a. Patrick O’Brien) needs our help. Actually, he and several hundred thousand people need our help.

For those who aren’t familiar with him, Transfatty has long been creating mind-bending, experimental video and audio (samples here). As a contributor to Newstoday and a perpetual “man on the scene,” Patrick has contributed a great deal to design communities.

Patrick was recently diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It’s a fatal and, at the moment, incurable disease that slowly robs its victims of their ability to control their bodies.

In an effort to raise awareness of ALS, Transfatty has set up the Patrick O’Brien Foundation. Check out the site and make a donation if you can. Your money will help people diagnosed with neuro-muscular illness create works that document how they live with their disease. The foundation also supports research into curing ALS.

To show our support, we’ve placed a link to the Patrick O’Brien Foundation website above the Cream O’ the Crop.
