I would love to hear what is Marc’s toolset. I had to do some fake interface work and it was such a pain in the ass in After Effect (for example, no 9 slice scaling, useful for mock content windows) - but Flash provided no authoring-time 3D support. It was a catch-22 to pick a software to work with.

Well, sorry to disappoint you, but After Effects is a big part of the toolset.

3D work - Electric Image & Cinema 4D
Animation - After Effects
Post Process - Debabalizer
Playback - Quicktime Master (custom software from Useful Co), Director, Flash
You forgot to mention that you’re running the latest edition of Talent XL with the Hard Work plug-in.
