Showcase: 17 small ideas from Andrew B. Myers

This recent piece from Andrew B. Myers is quite the breath of fresh air!

It’s hard to feel that things haven’t become a tad homogenous in recent years. In an industry as insular as ours, where the collective animation has become so smooth, the illustration so stylized and the colors so vibrant, it’s quite the treat when something like this comes around. In many ways, it hearkens back to the days of old, when things were a bit rougher around the edges and a touch more forgiving and experimental.

Give this a view, if it doesn’t fill you with inspiration and ideas, I don’t know what will.
