Motion Plus Design Paris 2025: 10 Years of Motion, Magic, and Mastery

Since its creation in 2011, Motion Plus Design has been the world’s stage for the artists who shape the art of moving images. Over the past decade, the event has connected creative communities in Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Seoul, New York, and beyond, becoming the largest global gathering dedicated to Motion Design.

Now, for its 10th anniversary edition, Motion Plus Design returns to the Grand Rex, Paris on November 8, 2025, with a lineup that reads like a cinematic dream: the masters of title design and the visionaries redefining motion, storytelling, and technology.


A Lineup That Defines a Decade

Patrick ClairFounder of Antibody

An Emmy-winning director and designer, Patrick is behind some of the most iconic title sequences in modern television, including True Detective, Westworld, The Night Manager, and The Crown. As founder of Antibody, he continues to explore the intersection of technology, ethics, and storytelling, and is now focused on the evolving dialogue between creativity and AI.


Karin FongFounding Member, Imaginary Forces


A legend in the field and an Emmy Award winner, Karin’s work spans film, television, and design. Her title sequences for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Venom: The Last Dance, Cowboy Bebop, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan have shaped visual storytelling for a generation. At Imaginary Forces, she continues to push the boundaries of what Motion Design can be.


Michelle DoughertyDirector and Creative Director


Michelle is an Emmy-winning director and creative force behind acclaimed title sequences, brand identities, and digital experiences. She also directed Sonic Sea, a powerful documentary that explores the impact of human-made sound on ocean life, showing how storytelling and design can drive empathy and awareness.


Felix SoleticSenior Art Director, Apple


A Croatian-born designer based in New York, Felix has contributed to unforgettable title sequences including Westworld, The Crown, American Gods, The Alienist, and Watchmen. His award-winning career includes three Emmy nominations, One Club’s Young Guns recognition, and ADC Gold Cubes. Currently at Apple, he continues to craft visuals that bridge emotion and precision.


Leilanni ToddCreative Director & Digital Artist


With nearly two decades of experience across advertising, fashion, and technology, Leilanni has led projects for Apple, Google, Nike, and PUMA at agencies like Mother NY and Droga5. Her AI short Everyone Is Chair premiered at Tribeca 2024, and she recently earned the first-ever Gold Pencil for Creative AI at The One Show. She teaches “Generative AI for Virtual Production” at NYU Tisch.


David TomaszewskiDirector, YOROI


A filmmaker and visual artist raised in a family of musicians and painters, David first won The Star Wars Fan Film Awards at age 17 and George Lucas Selects at 19. Known for his close collaboration with French artist Orelsan, he’s directed over 50 music videos with more than 500 million views. His debut feature film Yoroi releases Fall 2025.


Nikon BasuFounder, Glitchborn (Mumbai)


A director and motion designer working across film and television, Nikon is known for the acclaimed title sequences of Delhi Crime, The Hunt for Veerappan, Qala, and Khauf. Through his studio Glitchborn, he blends analog and digital aesthetics to create haunting, cinematic worlds that redefine visual language.


Mehdi Hadi (MHAD)Director, Artist & VFX Motion Designer

With his bold, futuristic aesthetic and emotionally charged storytelling, MHAD has become one of the defining creative voices in cinematic motion design. His work spans video game cinematics, title sequences, and immersive worlds showcased in art exhibitions around the globe.

Sunny OsahnRender Network Foundation
An actor, designer, and voice-over artist turned creative advocate, Sunny now leads global grants and community engagement for Render Network, empowering artists through decentralized GPU computing. His work celebrates innovation, representation, and the synergy between storytelling and technology.

Pierre-Baptiste HarrivelleHead of Postproduction, 17MARS
Based in Paris, Pierre-Baptiste brings over ten years of experience in broadcast, games, and narrative design. As Head of Postproduction at 17MARS, he fosters creative collaboration and builds production pipelines that connect storytelling with technical excellence.

Julien MartorellFounder, Frame Club
Julien began his career as a dancer before finding his voice in motion design. As co-founder of the directing duo Julien & Quentin, he has crafted campaigns for Beats by Dre, Coca-Cola, Peugeot, and Puma. His latest project, Frame Club, is a new collaborative platform for creators to share, credit, and celebrate the art of film and motion.

Emily Bisset & Robert Hranitzky (Adobe)
Robert and Emily are Adobe’s global creative evangelists, leading workshops and talks that connect the latest 3D and video technologies with the craft of design. Robert brings 20 years of directing and motion expertise, while Emily, a 3D artist and Substance specialist, brings humor, heart, and a contagious enthusiasm for creative experimentation.

Clémence Renaud (La Fonderie de l’Image)
As Director at La Fonderie de l’Image, Clémence is an advocate for creative education and inclusion, bridging design, art, and technology for the next generation of artists.

As night falls, the Grand Rex transforms into a playground of possibility.
