Identity Continues Growth With the Signing of Tabletop Director Kevan Bean

A visual artisan skilled in filmmaking and photography, Kevan Bean refined his craft through painting—mastering composition, color, and tone—before channeling his signature style into award-winning campaigns, Super Bowl spots, and work for brands like McDonald’s and Burger King. “Kevan’s innovative tabletop approach aligns with Identity’s vision,” says Identity’s Joe Masi, highlighting his expertise in high-speed cinematography and in-camera effects. “His techniques elevate storytelling and expand our creative capabilities.”Guided by his father’s mantra, “just do the work,” Bean embraces technical experimentation while honoring authenticity. “Tabletop has evolved with tools like CGI and motion control,” he notes, “but its core remains rooted in sensory storytelling.” Now part of Identity’s roster, Bean aims to push boundaries at a studio he’s long admired: “I wanted to join a collective where excellence and individuality thrive.”

He reunites with Identity’s Gloria Colangelo, his collaborator of 20+ years. “Kevan’s artistry and commitment to making food feel appetizing—a rarity today—set him apart,” she says. “His ability to shape brands while keeping them fresh is unmatched.”
