‘In the Shadow of the Cypress’ Oscar®-nominated, previously won Animayo’s Grand Jury Prize

Animayo, the only Spanish animation festival recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as ‘Oscar®-qualifying’ in two categories, continues its streak of success. For the fourth consecutive year, an Animayo Grand Prize winner has received an Oscar® nomination. This year, ‘In the Shadow of the Cypress’ is vying for Best Animated Short at the 97th Academy Awards, solidifying Animayo’s reputation as a platform for discovering exceptional animation.
