As AI changes how quickly creative work can be produced, studio owners face a harder question: what are clients paying for when production time shrinks?
Revolve, a new six-week accelerator from RevThink, takes that question into the business of running a studio. Led by Tim Thompson, the program begins October 13, 2026, with sessions on Tuesdays at 9am Pacific.
The course is aimed at studio owners and creative business leaders working through changes in expertise, client expectations and business models. Its six sessions move from examining assumptions about AI to reassessing the value of craft, understanding client hesitation and testing new offerings.
For Motion Design studios, the discussion reaches beyond which tools to adopt. Revolve asks participants to consider what their involvement changes for a client, and how to communicate that value when the means of production become more accessible.
RevThink is offering a free preview on Wednesday, October 7, at 5pm Eastern / 2pm Pacific. Participants are asked to bring a recent client project and an AI chatbot for an exercise exploring the difference between the work delivered and its effect on the client’s business.
The full accelerator is listed at $1,500, with scholarships available on request. RevThink also lists an in-person gathering in Los Angeles at no additional cost, with the date still to be announced.
