Reza Dolatabadi and NOBORDER Present “SEIZE YOUR NOW. BUILD YOUR FUTURE.” for Aston Martin Formula 1 Team and Coinbase

Director Reza Dolatabadi, co founder of NOBORDER Studio, led the creation of SEIZE YOUR NOW. BUILD YOUR FUTURE., a new animated film developed for the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team in collaboration with Coinbase, continuing an ongoing creative partnership.

The one minute film brings together the voices of Fernando Alonso, Jessica Hawkins, and Lance Stroll, reflecting on their journeys and the message each would share with their younger selves. Told through black and white animation, the story focuses on identity and memory rather than spectacle.

The project combines 2D and 3D animation created by artists working across continents and time zones. With only six weeks to complete the film, the distributed team turned distance into an advantage, running production continuously across time zones and effectively extending the creative process around the clock.

Music played a defining role in the film’s emotional language. “We wanted the music to shape how the film is felt. Instead of relying on library tracks or AI generated sound, we created an original orchestral score recorded live. Bringing real musicians into the process added a human presence you may not consciously notice, but can feel throughout the film,” says Reza Dolatabadi.
