‘Sphere’ 2nd Annual XO Student Design Challenge Celebrating Earth Day

Las Vegas, NV

Sphere has officially launched its 2nd Annual XO Student Design Challenge, inviting more than 100,000 students from the Clark County School District to create awe-inspiring digital art for Sphere’s iconic Exosphere display. In collaboration with the Clark County School District and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, this year’s challenge celebrates Earth Day, encouraging students to explore the connections between art, technology, and the planet.

The contest will showcase students’ creativity across grade levels, with eight winners selected from elementary through college students. The judging process will combine public voting with an expert panel to identify the most compelling and innovative designs.

Winners in high school and college categories will each receive a $10,000 scholarship courtesy of Sphere, recognizing their talent and supporting their educational aspirations. For elementary and middle school winners, Sphere will donate $10,000 to their school’s art programs, inspiring the next generation of artists and creators. Additionally, all students in these winning schools will receive tickets to The Sphere Experience, offering a unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge art and technology firsthand.

“Sphere is thrilled to work with Clark County School District and UNLV for the second year in a row, spotlighting young artists and giving them a platform to share their visions with the world,” said [Sphere representative’s name]. “This challenge aligns with our commitment to inspire creativity and environmental awareness through the power of art and technology.”
