Animography launches Mobilo

Animography launched Mobilo today.

In keeping with their collaborative approach to creating animated typefaces, Mobilo was brought to life by a slew of A-list animators. (Check the product page for the full list.)

Each animator tackled one of three animated variations for each letter of the alphabet. With uppercase and lowercase variations, that’s 156 animated characters.

The Mobilo typeface was designed by Marco Alfredo Pradil and the promo music was crafted by Clark Rhee.

This is a good animated typeface…however…I don’t really see how it got on to motionographer…so 236 people animated 1 letter each. and made an anmiated typeface…I know individuals who make animated typefaces

The sheer scale of the collaboration and the fact that each character has so much personality… that feels like enough. And more than a single person can accomplish.

Having participated, I was impressed at the sheer organization of getting so many creatives to get something done on time!
