Coob | ‘the LIFE2’ – Manifesto

‘TheLIFE2’ is a South Korean lifestyle channel that dives into the heart of daily life, exploring local dining (Food), travel spots (Travel), and fascinating people (People). As the sister channel to ‘theLife’, it aims to deliver engaging, feel-good stories that resonate with viewers. Cobb Studio, having crafted the network design for ‘theLife’, took on the challenge of giving ‘theLIFE2’ its own unique identity while staying true to its roots.

The focus? The number ‘2’. This simple digit became the star of the show, symbolizing togetherness and the idea of a ‘second life’—a fresh start for an older yet youthful audience. Through clever Motion Design, Cobb Studio transformed the ‘2’ into a dynamic, versatile element that pops across screens. They also reimagined the original ‘theLIFE’ module, using it not just as an object but as a structural element in landscapes and buildings, creating a refreshed visual language that feels both familiar and new.

The result is a brand identity that’s playful, modern, and deeply connected to its audience. By blending Motion Design with thoughtful storytelling, Cobb Studio gave ‘theLIFE2’ a vibrant personality that stands out while honoring its origins. It’s a celebration of life’s second chances, one frame at a time.
