Memories is a short science-fiction film directed by Mehdi Hadi, exploring the fragile boundary between memory, identity and artificial consciousness.
In this world, the ruins of a war between humans and machines still echo with the remnants of the past. JAIMI21, a solitary explorer robot, roams the remains of a vanished civilization.
His mission is simple yet haunting: to recover memory fragments left behind by his fallen kind, and through them, preserve the traces of the humanity they once served.
Each recovered disk revives intimate moments: a child’s laughter, words of love, desperate cries shouted in chaos. These voices from the past haunt JAIMI and give meaning to his wandering. But within the darkness of collapsed cities, mechanical predators still prowl against these monstrous creatures.
