Motionographer® NIKE SuperRep Go3 Flyknit

The NIKE SuperRep Go 3 Flyknit Product Film is a dynamic interpretation of the CrossFit model by CGI director Roman Nekhoda and his studio NEKHODA™. The main objective was to present the sneaker through the essence of Nike’s flagship Flyknit material. With only a physical sample provided and a one-month timeline, the team built the visual narrative around the tactile qualities of the shoe.

The atmosphere merged a dark CrossFit studio with sleek technological gradients, while photorealistic sculpting and texturing based on a 3D scan highlighted the silhouette, curves, and contours of the SuperRep. Houdini became the engine of fluidity, powering a library of simulations created under Nekhoda’s direction. A custom shader with displacement and normal mapping defined the hyper-realistic knit behavior, while Vellum and FEM tests conveyed sole compression in macro detail.

Dynamic typography and UI elements, crafted in After Effects, integrated seamlessly with the visuals. The film became a fusion of engineering and sensation — precise enough for macro imagery, yet expressive enough to embody brand emotion. Produced for social media, TV, and retail networks by AMAZING RED, the commercial achieved wide distribution consistent with Nike’s high-performing campaigns.
