Laundry partnered closely with the Now You See Me team to help conceptualize and craft the film’s Main On and title sequence, approaching it not as a conventional credit roll but as an extension of the magic itself.
Through an intensive series of visual experiments—exploring typography, transitions, timing, and illusion—they collectively uncovered a key insight: the titles shouldn’t introduce the magic show, they should be the magic show. Each credit was designed as its own trick, misdirection, or reveal, transforming familiar title mechanics into moments of surprise and delight.
The result was a sequence that feels performative and alive, seamlessly integrated with the film’s tone and turning the act of revealing names into an entertaining sleight of hand that keeps audiences engaged right from the start.
