REMADE – Tim Pachuau | Museum of Science – Perception Playground
Ever seen a face in your buttered toast? Or smelled something that sent you straight back to third grade? The Museum of Science in Boston just launched Perception Playground, a brand-new exhibit that invites visitors to explore the weird, wonderful ways our brains interpret the world around us. It’s a mind-bending journey into the science behind how we see, hear, and process reality.
To help bring the exhibit to life, the animation studio REMADE was tapped to create a playful, high-energy spot aimed at families with kids ages 6–14. The brief: make science feel fun, surprising, and a little surreal. This project also marked the first time the Museum’s branded characters, the abstract, expressive “YoBH-ees” were animated outside of their static exhibit world. Under the direction of REMADE’s Tim Pachuau, the team got to stretch these oddball personalities in motion for the very first time.
