For French rapper Saïf, Lucas Durkheim and Eddy follow 24 hours in the life of a lookout in the south of France: a feverish contemporary western in 2D animation composited over 16mm film. TRASH follows 24 hours in the life of Adel, a drug lookout in a housing estate in the south of France. It is a feverish, incandescent contemporary western. Like all westerns, it plays with time. And like all westerns, it ends in blood.
The film combines traditional 2D animation composited over footage shot on 16mm. It was made to accompany the release of Si vous saviez (If only you knew), the second EP from French rapper Saïf (84 City / Warner Music France).
