Sponsor opens can be tricky. You have to display sponsors’ names/logos in such a way that they are prominent and memorable, which means you can’t simply parade them across them the screen one after the other. There must be some quirky systemâ€”either an engaging narrative or a flexible aestheticâ€”that wraps around everything.
When successful, the result works like Click 3X’s project: each sponsor is a surprise as we examine (literally, in this case) the world created for us.
What’s interesting is that instead of building an expansive graphical universe for a camera to zoom frantically around, Click 3X has decided to go microscopic. Each specimen is the basis of a vignette, modulating an impinging sense of claustrophobia with the feeling that these little critters before us could unfold forever.
