The Motion Awards Nominees & Winners 2022

As another has already raced past, 2021 seems like a long time ago. But, as The Motion Awards fulfils its promise to immortalise great work, in that sense, the nominees and winners every year are timeless.

We acknowledge that people grow tired of hearing about the pandemic, but we must once again consider its influence on all of this year’s entries. Many studios tried to cope with increased demand while having to balance a new world with the need to innovate and evolve.

It’s no surprise then that Motion Design thrived in this period, for if there is anything we do best as a community, it is to innovate and evolve. We are so excited to share this year’s nominees and winners with you, who showcase this ethos in a masterful fashion.

We will be featuring some of these projects in articles throughout 2023, but until then, you can discover the winners below.

We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all.

To submit your work in such a complex field takes great courage and conviction, and we hope you will not be put off from continuing to do so in future. We had conversations with many judges who had a tough time narrowing down a shortlist in the midst of so much talent.

As for the nominees, we hope that this recognition will inspire you further on your journey.
