Entirely generated in-house at Private Island, the short weaponises cutting-edge generative video to deliver a biting, anarchic parody of the world’s most infamous tech billionaires, turning the medium itself into the punchline.

“Bunker Boyz” is a merciless satirical take on the survivalist fantasies, Mars obsessions, and immortality complexes of Silicon Valley’s elite. Men so insulated by wealth and power that they can no longer relate to humanity, let alone reality. They are would-be conquerors who turn out to want nothing grander than a friend.
It is fitting, then, that men so committed to manufacturing their own realities should be portrayed by the very technology built to manufacture synthetic images. With “Bunker Boyz,” Private Island deploys its signature “image-making mischief” to explore the direct tension between the medium and the message. The technology is entirely bound up with the point, tone, and reason the work exists at all.
