Jordan Reborn | ADMK | Stance Studio

// blvckstance

Directed by Blvckstance, the film tells the story of Michael Jordan’s journey, and his impact on basketball and pop culture, through the metaphor of the iconic Solid Gold OVO Air Jordan sneakers.

In 1984, Nike signed Michael Jordan, a young basketball player who had just joined the Chicago Bulls. He became one of the greatest sports stars of all time. As Jordan celebrates his 60th birthday in 2023, the Jordan Year promises to be significant for Nike, basketball, and Jordan himself.

The film aims to showcase Michael Jordan’s journey to perfection through his most significant victories, using the iconic monologue from Michael Jordan’s 2014 ad, “Maybe it’s my fault.”

The golden version of the sneaker shown at the end represents Jordan’s growth and experience as a player.

The legendary limited edition Solid Gold OVO Air Jordan sneakers, made of pure gold by renowned artist Matthew Senna in 2016, were sold at auction for $2 million.
