The music video was a direct response to hearing the music. The track ‘Blue’ conjured up feelings of wondering and daydreaming. The style was created to be playful and trippy. The creative process was very free and constantly evolving. The visuals were animated and never updated or amended. This was part of the process of creating something that felt authentic in its generation.
About Sami Fitz /
Sami Fitz is a British-American musician and sound meditation practitioner based in London. She studied Naad Yoga in 2019 with Leo Cosendai and holds a 200-HR certificate with the Yoga Alliance. Her work encompasses using gongs, singing bowls, intuitive voice, and small percussion to relax the body and help center the mind. Prior to becoming a sound meditation teacher, Sami worked in the corporate world at MTV, Viacom, and Salesforce; as well as an independent musician. This combination of previous experience allows for a unique perspective on how to enhance creativity, promote teamwork, and create balance in our busy lives.
Sami continues to record ambient pop music and holds sound meditation workshops around London – previous sessions have been held at East of Eden, Battersea Yoga, Hotpod Yoga, and the Natural History Museum. She’s had the privilege to perform/record with Leo Abrahams, Widt, Damien Rice, Sarah Davachi, Seb Rochford, Black Square, Teletextile, Gloria Gaynor, and Annea Lockwood. Her solo work includes creating unusual soundscapes and ethereal spaces using primarily her voice and synthesizers. She loves experimental music but equally loves an 80s pop song. Her debut LP will be released soon.
