To mark its tenth anniversary, Niceshit rewrites itself, launching a new identity built around a bespoke typeface drawn from the handwriting of its three founders.
At the heart of the new identity is a bespoke, hand-drawn typeface merged from the handwriting of the studio’s three founders into a single working fon, a direct reflection of how Niceshit operates: fully collaborative, no hierarchy, three directors on every project from start to finish.
The rebrand spans logo, colour system, typography and website, built to flex across outputs while staying unmistakably Niceshit. In their words: “Niceshit is an attitude. A way of thinking and solving problems in endless styles and techniques.” It rests on three pillar, simplicity, humour and function.
Over the past decade, the studio has built adaptive illustration systems, animated campaigns and identities for IBM (with Ogilvy), Google, Trivago (with Further), Bose, EA Sports, Fielmann and Realtor—work that has run everywhere from JFK Airport to Tokyo trains to Wimbledon. Alongside commercial projects, The Feelings, an animated mental health film made with McCann and based on real interviews, became one of their most meaningful works.
Why now? After ten years the values stay the same, curiosity, warmth, humour and meaningful storytelling, but the craft, confidence and ambition have grown. As they put it:
“We’re partners, not providers. Think of us as the GPS for your story.”
